For centuries, Israel was a barren wasteland boasting sparse olive orchards and tired flocks of goats. Now, it has been transformed into one of the most beautiful places in the world. Stone dwellings and passages abound evoking the strength and permanence of time’s passage; however, they are adorned with trees, plants, and flowers reflecting the pride and joy of a people having returned home.
